London- Day One 10/18/08

After an exhausting red eye flight from New York to London, I was beat. I was jet-lagged and really wanted to stay in the hotel room and get some sleep- but the girls made me go with them to help Tony sign some special books. These books are Limited Edition copies that are sold for more money and each one is hand signed by Tony. There are 1000 books total, I helped Tony sign 478 of them in an hour.

At one point, I was helping Sally get the books ready. She was not paying attention to me as usual...

I just laid there on the floor. How embaressing. Thanks for nothing, Sally.
Later, I soaked in a hot bath. The girls showed me this cool little bath tub just for me...


Tomorrow, it's off to a Book Fair outside of London. I'll show Sally, she better have eyes in the back of her head...

Last Day in New York 10/17/08

First of all- Back at Shiloh! Harlow's Haflinger colt arrived from finally PA! Look at how cute he is! His mane is so curly. We have named him Crusoe...

Meanwhile, back In New York...

Our last day in the city, tonight we wing our way to jolly old London. I was feeling quite miffed that I was the only one who did not get a new hat yesterday, so the girls got me a special style that is perfect for New York!

I just love this style. It looks great on me...

Another long day of television interviews, TC did news segments for stations all across the country.

During a break in the filming, we caught up on the news...

After all the work, we headed out to The Museum of Natural History where there was a special exhibit called "The Horse". It told the story of the horse all through history, it was so neat! I learned alot about my species and our evolution. Pictures were not allowed, so I stayed in Jill's bag. It's amazing that my girls come all the way across the country, and still look for horse things to do!

I did meet some girls at the Museum Gift Shop. "Hey Girls!"

This beautiful sorrel caught my eye. But she hadn't really ever been out of the shop and traveled like me, so we did not have too much in common...

Our tour continues in London. I'll be blogging from across the pond in no time. Cheerio Chaps!

New York- Day Three

Again, my girls had me up early. It was off to Fox News for their "Fox and Friends" Show...

I stayed back and made sure everything ran smoothly... Let's get a little more light in here! Watch that Boom Mike!

Yes, that looks good, keep it up Tony. Let's Roll!

I really worked up an appetite directing, so my girls stopped and got some Hot Dogs on the street. I'll have mine with extra sauerkraut please...

Back to work, it was "hurry up and wait" in the Green Room at the radio station.

All right, let's do this! Action! Let's look alive in there! Time is money!

Because I did such a good job directing him, Tony brought me hat shopping in Tribeca.

More television tomorrow morning, then off to London on the Red Eye!

New York- Day Two

An early morning, we had a full schedule ahead of us.

It was so early that the streets were empty...

I gave the driver directions to our first stop, The Today Show...

I watched Tony talk to Matt Lauer.

Here is Tony with his mom when he was little. What a cute little sailor suit Tony!

Next stop, Access Hollywood.

After that, on to The View! Tony talked with all the girls before the show. Here he is with Whoopi!

It was a full audience...

Even "The Big Boss" made an appearance!

After our work was done, Tony showed us where he grew up in the city.

Tony and his family lived in this tenement building for a while. On the second floor right above the red awning.
Tony and his younger brother, Julius, lived in this building, when it used as an orphanage. His parents could not afford to take care of the boys, so they were placed here for a period of time.

Later, we shopped the streets. The girls bought me this great t-shirt.

Here the girls are embarrassing me again, as usual...

I tried to get them arrested by one of the city's finest, but he wouldn't do it. Maybe next time...

Then it was back to the hotel for a good dinner and, finally, a full night's sleep. Tomorrow it's more interviews. Watch for us on "Fox and Friends" on Fox News.

All is good, everyone is fine. Elisa, AKA Officer Jim Dangle, is trying to keep everyone in line. Good Luck with that!

Some good news: Former Shiloh Horse, Wichita and her owner Erin, placed third in their first Hunter Jumper Show. They rode both on the flat and over fences. Great job guys, all of us at Shiloh are proud of you!

New York- Day One 10/14/08

Tony's Book Tour has begun! Of course, the girls brought me along to help out.

Flying our way to New York from Las Vegas...
What will we do on this trip? I wonder...
First stop this morning, my girls brought me to a place called Ground Zero. We went into a museum, my girls did not take any pictures inside. But they did cry. I did too...
They said it was an important and special place, somewhere all Americans should come to see at some point. My girls told me we should never forget what happened here.
It was a big empty place. But new buildings are slowly being built.

Then, it was off to Chinatown! My girls decided to look for purses- very special purses.
Boy, did they find them! But,why were we taken into secret rooms with false doors? And why were the purses in black trashbags? I'll say one thing, it sure was exciting!
Later in the evening, we went to Barnes and Noble Book Store in Lincoln Center for a book signing.
I didn't sign any, but Tony did. He signed over 350 books in two hours. There were really long lines and tons of people.
Am I mentioned in the book?
What does it say about me?

My old friend, Larry Storch, wept with joy when he saw me. Or was he actually holding his nose because I smelled? After all, it's been months since Sally dropped me in the horse pee at Whitehall Castle in London and I've had many baths since then...

Look at this crowd! There is Tony up front with the cowboy hat on! Hey Tony, back here!
We even signed autographs when we got back to the hotel. It's exhausting being famous...
