I did a little back seat driving...
But, I kept a wary eye on Sally. She tried to look innocent as she read the newspaper, but I knew better. We arrived at the Cheltenham Literary Festival- a Book Fair! This is a very important book event for authors to come and speak to reading fans. It has been held for the last 70 years and goes on for two weeks. Today was the last day and Tony was the big attraction. Cheltenham is what is called a "Regency Town" and is in Gloucestershire. Blimey, it's hard to pronounce these names!
Still worried about Sally and her careless ways, I wanted to stick close to Jill.
I hung out and watched the photographs go nuts on Tony. Keep the distance there buddy!
I helped with the autographs...Tony even signed a car that was used in the television show, The Presuaders. Roger Moore had also signed it.
Then Tony gave a talk about his life in the movies and then answered questions from the audience. it was a sold out crowd of 1000! I waited backstage as Sally was sitting in the front row in the audience...
There she is. How did she get the job of helping Tony with signing books? Be careful you don't drop the books!
Since my job was being done by "you know who", I visited with some long time fans from Germany...
Back in the dressing room, Sally showed her narcissistic side...
Then she tried to tempt me with wine! Sally you are incorrigible ! I may not have had my chance at revenge today, but tomorrow is another day! I heard my girls are planning a visit to The Tower of London, perhaps I will find my chance there...
Yes, that is it, now all I need to do is wait and watch for my opportunity... I'll stay close to Jill for now...
It was a great success today, Tony signed over 500 books. Tomorrow it's radio and then another book signing.
Toodle-Loo!

Hmm... Never thought of Queenie's English being difficult to pronounce, but that's the Queen for you!! Never makes anything easy.... Gloucestershire, now, it's actually quite easy, we just put too many letters in. Try Glos-ter-shire....
(Leistershire is similar to your Lestershire if you had one... see? Too many letters!)
