Traveler in Los Angeles 11/24/08

The girls brought me along on the trip to Los Angeles. Tony was coming into town to do The Bonnie Hunt Show, The Late Late Show, and a book signing at Book Soup in Hollywood.

The girls brought me to the Westwood Cemetary to visit Marilyn Monore's grave. There she is!

I tried to leave a kiss for her but the girls would not loan me any of their lipstick...

Back at the hotel. There is Sally, the little speck on the balcony. Hi Sally!

We went to Trader Vics for dinner. Yay baby!

I had a Mojito...

I love the mint. Jill let me chew on the mint leaves.

I also had a Mai Tai. Did you know that Trader Vics claims to have invented the Mai Tai?

San Francisco 11/17/08

Off on another San Francisco adventure- this time to Chinatown to learn about the mysteries of the Far East...
Sally and I got on the Cable Car headed to Chinatown...

While waiting for the cable car, I watched a street dancer perform. I busted a few moves of my own...

Then, the cable car was off!

Never one to be shy, Sally got right into the spirit of Chinatown...

And so did I! I love the silk!

Looking good!

Here is a marker for the Barbary Coast. "The Barbary Coast is the haunt of the low and the vile of every kind..." Am I going to get Shanghaied?

When I told Tony that we were going to Chinatown, he asked me to get him something specific to eat. But, I don't see his request of "Rat's Bosom with a slice of Cat" anywhere...

Later that night, we went out to a Chinese Restaurant where Jill gave me a kiss!

The Shiloh Mustangs!

Look at these awesome pictures of Shiloh's Cortez and Boarded horse, Gus, this past weekend at Shiloh! Both are spirited BLM Mustangs...
Cortez after a nice roll in the dust!

It's so cool to see horses playing like this!

San Francisco 11/16/08

Another beautiful day, so my girls brought me out on another adventure. We took the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf to explore...

I got a new necklace that spells out my name. My girls sure do spoil me, but of course I deserve it...

Smell these handmade bath salts made from sea salt! I wish I could take baths...

Salt Water Taffy! I bought Tony a big bag...

Another new t-shirt. This one is for the "Alcatraz Swim Team"...

There it is- ALCATRAZ!

I stopped and watched the Sea Lions at Pier 39- they stink but are fun to watch! Did you know that there is a Marine Mammal Center that has a hospital that rescues and rehabilitates nearly 500 seals, sea lions, otters, porpoises, and dolphins? Many of these animals can be seen at Pier 39. You can even adopt a seal!

Listen to them!

We had a drawing made of the three of us. I look the best...

The Three Amigos.

Later, Tony and I went out on the long pier by our hotel. Look how beautiful it is! We even saw a seal swimming close by.

I even danced to some music.

A great day in San Francisco!

San Francisco- Day Two 11/15/08

It has been just beautiful up here in San Francisco, it's been in the 80's!

But, it was another busy day, up early and to bed late. The girls never let me rest...

First it was off to a television show here in the Bay area. I hung out with my new friend, Mark, who owns the historic Castro Theater. Tony is having a big event at the Castro on Tuesday night. They will be showing his film, Some Like it Hot, and Tony will be talking to the audience before the movie. They have sold 800 tickets so far, so it's going to be huge, but I'll be ready...

A close up of my card, sorry it's so fuzzy...

I watched TC's interview... She looks like she is having fun...

And, I left a card at the television studio.

We had about an hour off, so the girls and I went down to the Farmer's Market. There was tons of food, I bought some pears...

Then we stopped by the park to watch a woman "play" with her rats on the grass. Is it just me, or is that weird?

Back in the car, we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and headed to Navato, a beautiful town outside of San Francisco.

Tony signed his book at Costco in Novato. There was a long line and lots of fans. Tony even signed the big poster for one of them. I should have spoken up first, we could have hung that on the barn!

Later that night, the opening of TC's art show.
I love this painting of the three cats and the fish...

Oh, drinks! Don't mind if I do!

I think I drank too much. I had to lay down and take a break with TC in the back room... Oh, my head...

Traveler in San Francisco- Day One 11/14/08

Well, it was off to San Francisco early this morning for Tony's book signing, film festival, and art show. It's going to be another busy week...

I sat in the back, while Sally sat in the front. Stop looking at me, Sally...

The girls finally gave me my own suitcase so I can travel securely without being crushed. It's about time...

Once we arrived in San Francisco, Tony and I checked out his pre-press...

Our hotel has a beautiful view of the Bay Bridge!

We went out on the terrace....

I hung out with both girls so that one would not be jealous of the other...

Then I watched over TC's interview and photo shoot.Another great things that my girls have done for me is that I now have my very own business cards! So many people ask about me as I am traveling that now I can hand them a card and they can visit my blog. I came up with a super idea of leaving my cards around the cities that I visit, anyone who finds one will know to check out Shiloh and my blog! Here I am hanging my first card! I wonder if anyone will find it?

We went to the art gallery where Tony is having his art show starting tomorrow night. It looks great! Hey, here is the "Just for Shiloh" print that is sold on Shiloh's website. Sales from this print go to the Shiloh Horses...

Another smaller painting, I like the cats and fish!

The gallery is right by Fisherman's Wharf. I can't wait to explore down there! Look at that cool old ship!

A beautiful California sunset...

Look at the bridge's lights from our room!

I am off to a good night's sleep, we have alot of work to do tomorrow...
