A Day out in Paris
Our first free day and we went out singing the song, "April in Paris".
I hitched a ride in Sally's backpack, then somebody warned us about Pickpockets! The girls assured me that I was safe...
But then, I got a glimpse of the day's activites and I wasn't so sure!
It was down to the Catacombs! Pourquoi?
The inscription on the door said it all, "You are now entering the "Realm of Death".
It was dark and scary...
There were bones everywhere. Sally let me ride on her shoulder so I could be closer to her...
Sally told me I was safe as I did not have any bones of my own...
Back outside, we went to the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Now this was more like it!
We had a group shot taken...
We really are a close family, my girls and I...
The tulips were blooming.
This is Pont Nuef, the oldest bridge in Paris. It was begun in 1578.
Here is the park at the very tip of the Ile De La Citie.
I stopped and listen to some music on the Pont St. Louis.
